Become Catholic?

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process by which adults (and sometimes older children) are initiated into the Catholic Church. It’s a journey that prepares individuals to become fully initiated members of the Church through three key sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

The process is designed to welcome adults into the Catholic faith in a gradual and spiritual way, ensuring they understand the faith, are formed in Catholic doctrine, and experience community life. The OCIA process also helps individuals discern whether they truly feel called to become Catholic, which is why it involves prayer, reflection, and community support.
